Timber Various Sizes & Lengths C16 & C24

At Eclipse Fencing Ltd, we stock both C16 and C24 timber to suit a variety of construction needs. But what do these grades mean?

  • C16 Timber – This is a common structural timber grade, ideal for general building projects. It offers good strength and durability for applications such as stud walls, joists, and basic framing. C16 is often used in domestic and light construction where high load-bearing isn’t critical.

  • C24 Timber – This is a stronger, higher-grade structural timber. C24 is designed for projects that require extra strength, such as heavy-duty flooring, roof trusses, or load-bearing beams. It’s engineered to meet stricter structural standards, making it ideal for both domestic and commercial construction.
